What to see on the Tremiti Islands, the best things to do in an excursion on Tremiti Islands.

From Camping Village San Michele it is possible to take part on the daily excursions to Tremiti Islands, lovely archipelago characterized by rugged coastline, crystal clear sea with its blue-turquoise colours and unspoilt vegetation, far away around 12 miles from Gargano coasts.

This little paradise is composed by five islands: San Domino, San Nicola, Capraia, Cretaccio and Pianosa.

San Domino is the largest and the most interesting in terms of nature of the entire archipelago, while San Nicola is full of architecture and history with its monuments, churches and towers. Capraia is covered entirely by vegetation and it is the favourite destination of seagulls; Cretaccio is a little rock between San Nicola and San Domino and, in the past, formed a pillar of a wood bridge that linked the two major Islands. The Marine Park around the Tremiti Islands allows interesting scuba diving to discover the charming seabed and its richness. It is possible to take a local taxi-boat to visit the different Islands and to discover the coast.

You have the opportunity to book your daily excursions at the Reception, with departure at Touristic Port of Vieste, approached by bus that stops in front of the Camping, or by car with payable car park close to the boarding area. You may take your pet with you.
